Beth Novak Milliken

Beth Novak Milliken is the President and CEO of Spottswoode, where she has worked since 1987 when she first joined her mother, Mary Novak, in guiding the family’s estate vineyard & winery. Milliken has volunteered and continues to give her time to many causes, among them (past to present) the St. Helena Public Schools, Land Trust of Napa County, Auction Napa Valley, Growers/Vintners for Responsible Agriculture, and more. She currently sits on the Board of the Napa Valley Vintners (this is her second stint on this Board, where she was the youngest and first female president in 1998) and heads its Environmental Stewardship Committee.

Milliken has built a reputation as a leader in the Napa Valley community, advocating on behalf of the wine industry, and the social and environmental causes that are deeply important to her.

In her free time, Beth enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, on her mountain bike, on skis, hiking, walking and exploring. She also enjoys traveling with her family and friends.

Milliken brings with her an abundance of managerial and non-profit experience and is excited to share her energy and enthusiasm, along with her sense of corporate, social and environmental responsibility to the Foundation.
