The Napa Medical Research Foundation is very pleased to welcome Brad Vartan as our new Executive Director. Brad has 20 years of non-profit experience and is skilled in organizational management, public speaking, fundraising and event management. He has a demonstrated history of success working for national and international organizations, including Sinai Health System, United Way, American Red Cross, Museum of Latin American Art, UCLA and San Jose State University.

At Sinai Health System, Brad served as the Director of Development and raised funds for four hospitals, a medical group, a community center and a research institute. He also managed the Advancement Committee Board, which focused on philanthropy and secured a $1.2M gift from an individual donor for new surgical equipment.

Brad holds a certificate in leadership and management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College Chicago. He and his wife, Vesti, recently moved to Napa with their three daughters. The family enjoys outdoor activities, the visual arts and music, and they look forward to becoming fully integrated into the Napa community.

The Foundation is fortunate to have a person with Brad’s experience and leadership skills join our staff. The Board of Directors looks forward to Brad's guidance to help the Foundation accomplish its mission of discovering and supporting leading-edge, patient-friendly orthopedic healthcare.
