PLATELET LYSATE PATENT

A device was designed to lyse (break apart) platelets and release the therapeutic growth factors inside the platelets. The patent application has been submitted and we’re awaiting approval.

PLATELET QUANTIFICATION STUDY

This is a methods study in which we seek to educate the medical and scientific community on the pros and cons of using 3 commonly used pieces of equipment that are used to get platelet counts: Hematology counter, fluorescence microscope and flow cytometer. Additional experiments need to be performed.
