Dr. Marko Bodor in the News

Napa Medical Research Foundation Director of Research, Marko Bodor, MD, was recognized by Sonex Health in March 2021 for his use of their MicroKnife® in carpal
tunnel release procedures.


According to the article, “Dr. Marko Bodor of Napa, CA has now given more than 100 patients fast-healing relief from carpal tunnel syndrome by using the Sonex Health
SX-One MicroKnife® to perform carpal tunnel release (CTR) with ultrasound guidance.”


Washington DC Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (ACCV) Teleconference

Dr. Marko Bodor testified to the ACCV on Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration (SIRVA) at their December 3, 2020 teleconference. According to the ACCV, Dr. Bodor explained the anatomy of the shoulder and how in rare cases a vaccine can be injected improperly, “specifically, two rotator cuff tendons are most often involved in cases of chronic pain caused by those vaccine deposits, the infraspinatus, and the teres minor. Dr. Bodor has developed a procedure that removes the vaccine, and consequently, the pain is resolved. Although a double blind, randomized controlled trial has not been conducted; eight patients have been successfully treated with this procedure.“


Orthopedic Research Conference at Steadman
Philippon Research Institute (SPRI)

Dr. Marko Bodor, Dr. Tamara Alliston, Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at UCSF, and Dr. Eric Verdin, President and CEO of the Buck Institute, traveled to Vail, Colorado in March to meet with their colleagues at SPRI to discuss future research collaboration on topics related to aging, senescent cells, stem cells, prevention and treatment of sports injuries and osteoarthritis.


NMRF Research Paper Published in Medical Journal

The NMRF Research Team has published their paper titled “Effect of Local Anesthetics on Platelet Physiology and Function” in the April 2021 issue of the esteemed Journal of Orthopaedic Research.
